Knowledge is Power

The most common three word quote that we have grown up with has so much of life’s philosophy in it. Knowing and learning from our surroundings is Knowledge.

Education is a systematic and step-by-step form of attaining Knowledge about the world. Education reveals the facts of the world fold after fold from its basic aspects to the most complex forms.

Thus, Education influences us towards rightful thinking and in the being of a good citizen, which forms a country’s most priced asset that lends to the progress of the nation.

The onus is now on us to provide our nation with such good citizens which, we believe, is possible by ensuring education to every child of the nation or at the least every child that we know in our near surroundings. An initiative such as this, by people who feel a responsibility towards the nation for its progress, can make a lasting contribution to the society.

Contribution by building the capacities of the meritorious but poor children by providing continuing support to access quality education till +2 level, which will also address the issue of drop outs and hence, child labor at the grass root level. A contribution towards poverty proofing the next generation.

There is no literate population that is poor, no illiterate population that is other than poor.

Guidelines & Criteria

  • The employee, to avail, should have compulsorily completed a tenure of 1 year in the organization.
  • Only those employees are eligible whose annual family income does not exceed 1,20,000
  • The wards of the eligible ( refer 1) employee should be studying between the 1st and 12th std.
  • The children who have secured 60% and above are eligible to apply for scholarship.
  • The scholarships will be rewarded under four categories:
    • Primary
    • Higher primary
    • Secondary
    • Pre-university
  • The number of scholarships awarded will be as below:
    • Primary-100
    • Higher primary-175
    • Secondary-175
    • Pre-unversity-50
  • There will be a carry over scholarship for the students who have performed consistently for consecutive academic year who will be awarded scholarship apart form the above mentioned slots.
  • The applications will be shortlisted and 35 top most meritorious students will be rewarded with the scholarship.
  • The scholarship will be provided in the form of check or DD drawn in favor of the educational institution for the deserving student and the amount will be one year’s complete expense incurred towards school uniform, books, tuition and exam fee.
  • The eligible candidate will have to furnish the report card or marks card with an attestation from the principal of the school.
  • The selection is subjected to management’s discretion.
  • There will be few mentors dedicated to keep a check towards consistent performance of the awarded students, who will also counsel students to excel.
